Purpose of Multigroup
Multigroup is a group to which other groups are linked but no resources\users can have a specified capacity in it directly.
Use Multigroup for joint analysis of different Resource Groups. As an example it can be used as a representation of one department.

Create Multigroup
- To create a Multigroup direct in Epicflow press “plus” icon located to the left from the columns names in the top left corner of the page. Newly appeared context menu will grant you an option to create either simple group or multi-group. To finish group creation process name and color of such must be specified.

- As a next step you would need to create special group in External system which must be linked to a Multigroup in Epicflow.
- As soon as such group is created and Resource Pool is synchronized with Epicflow to map(link) external Multigroup to the previously created Multigroup in Epicflow open “Unmapped Resources” tab and
- drag required Multigroup from the Groups list directly to the name of previously created one.
- or, if name of the Multigroup created in the Epicflow and external system is the same, open “Unmapped Resources” tab, locate required Multigroup and press “arrow” icon located to the right from the Multigroup’s name.

- Last step will be specification of the Multigroup context and for that you would need to link groups with Multigroup by simple drag of the Group’s name right on Multigroup.

Transfer Group to Multigroup
For Group’s transfer into Multigroup as a first step you need to
- remove all resources from the group by left mouse click on appropriate capacity cell and removing the link by selection of “trash” icon

- as a next step of transfer press on “three dots” icon to the right from the group name and in appeared context frame press “star” icon.

- Last step will be specification of the Multigroup context and for that you would need to link groups with Multigroup by simple drag of the Group’s name right on Multigroup.

Delete Multigroup
- To delete Multigroup
- remove\exclude all Groups from the Multigroup by left mouse click on “three dots” icon to the right from Multigroup name and selection of the “exclude” icon to the right from the Group’s name
- As soon as Multigroup contains no groups click left mouse button on “three dots” icon menu, located to the right from such, and press “Delete” button.

UCLT
This is a special group called “Un-Compressible Lead Time”, you can add it as a resource in case of ordering time.
